California’s commercial salmon season opens Friday and “early signs indicate a bountiful year for salmon catches in 2020.” But with most restaurants closed due to the Covid-19 lockdown, fishermen will to need to find a way to reach consumers directly. “The key thing will be figuring out how do we reach all of these consumers now, in ways we may not have before. It will be hard at first trying to get the lay of the land.”
