With significantly reduced pollution due to the lockdown in India, people can see the Himalayas for the first time in decades. In the northern state of Punjab folks are posting photos online of clear views from their homes of the majestic mountain range that lies nearly 100 miles away. “For the first time in almost 30 years (I) could clearly see the Himalayas due to India’s lockdown clearing air pollution. Just amazing,” Manjit Kang wrote.
